Price guide for schools and colleges

Rather than having a fixed price structure, each tour is offered at an individual price.

 

This ensures you are paying for your tour.

 

Costing a tour is an important consideration. There are plenty of companies vying for the battlefield tour market, with many of them cutting corners to offer a cheaper tour, but you will get what you pay for - an inadequate guide (if any!), accommodation located an hour or more off route and a shallow itinerary often relying on the ‘tourist’ sites.

 

Andrew Spooner and Skylark Battlefield Tours will provide a battlefield tour which remains a lifetime experience.

Free staff places are always negotiable and are usually offered at a ratio of 1:9.

 

The group size, number of accompanying staff and style of accommodation requested generates the overall cost.

 

The prices below reflect tours travelling from the South East of England with a group size of 35 students and 4 staff.

 

An average cost per person for a 3 day tour is from £165-£195

 

An average cost per person for a 4 day tour is from £200-£250

 

An average cost per person for a 5 day tour is from £250-£300

 

All tours are fully inclusive, there are no hidden extras.
