Tour of the Somme Front line areas for the events

after the 1st July 1916.

Based in Arras and concentrating on events from the

3 July to the close of the campaign in November.

Now converted to Bespoke Tour and FULL

 

The 2010 list will be available shortly to include walking tours of the front line areas in the Ypres Salient and Picardie.

 

New for next spring, possibly May will be a 4 day tour of the V1 and V2 sites in Northern France. This will be led by Aviation Author Steve Darlow - more details to follow soon.

The increasing success of bespoke tours for schools and colleges will now restrict the number of small group tours listed.

Unless otherwise indicated all tours are conducted in a very comfortable, fully air conditioned minibus with a maximum of 8 spaces (Ford Torneo GLX).

In the event of increased interest in a particular tour date or location, the tour will either be duplicated or moved on to an executive coach. However, on such occasions the maximum number of persons will not exceed 20.

Tours with existing bookings detail the number of spaces left available.

Bespoke tours and group bookings will continue to be arranged separately.
